This role will involve developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and standards in compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer’s recommendations, project specifications and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of project sites, materials, and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Identify, document, and report any non-conformities or deficiencies, and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to review project specifications and quality requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related documentation.
Provide training and support to project staff on quality control practices and procedures.
Assist in the development of project quality plans and ensure they align with client expectations.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to continually improve quality processes.
Provides feedback to project teams based on quality projects (warranty issues, rework, etc).
Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external team members including staff, contractors, vendors, engineers, commissioning agents, and other industry professionals.
Minimum [3] years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within the mechanical contracting or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of installation procedures, inspection methods, and relevant codes and standards.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
