The Opportunity:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm. The QA Administrator will be responsible for providing administration support to the QC Department. This would include; daily entry of data from the weld mappers, filing documents, report building, and daily log entry.
This position requires a strong team player with excellent communication, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
•Revise piping drawings in Acorn to reflect the layouts
•Tracking and logging of project documentation
•Entering data using Google Sheets and Acorn Drafting Program
•Communicate effectively with QA/QC team and external clients in a professional manner
•Reject reports that have missing/incorrect information
Requirements:
•Experience with Acorn piping software would be an asset
•Experience in piping or structural QA documentation is an asset
•Interested in pursuing a career in Quality Control/Weld Inspection would be an asset
•G-Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail) knowledge/experience would be considered an asset
•Assist Materials Coordinator with receiving paperwork
•Check material chemistry for code and client specification compliance
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Proficient computer and math skills
•Organizational skills and ability to multi‐task
•Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with confidence is essential
•Ability to work well in a team environment
•Strong computer skills required
