Materials/Inventory Manager - West Seneca

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversight for the receipt, storage, and distribution of approximately $25M of materials/inventory

- Management of a 9-person warehouse team (2 salaried and 7 hourly employees); including directing daily work assignments, monitoring weekly performance metrics and manpower forecasting

- Development of material delivery schedules to National Fuel work locations throughout NY and PA

- Preparation and active monitoring of the annual budget for the division, including regular account reconciliations

- Control testing/compliance and monitoring of unit price changes and variances

- Directing inventory audits/reconciliations and the warehouse cycle count process

- Production of numerous reports relating to stockroom turnover, material usage, backorders, material in transit, etc.

- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management or a related field

- Proven experience managing a team

- Exceptional organization, attention to detail and analytical skills

- Familiarity with inventory/shipping/material management logistics and processes

- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience managing a union environment is desirable

- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials is preferred (Inventory Module is strongly preferred)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $100,000– $116,000.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
