Today, Steward Advanced Materials LLC builds on that rich history, and we are devoted to providing highly engineered specialty metallic and ceramic materials for global energy, industrial and consumer markets.

Job Duties:

- Work on developing and scaling metallurgical processes related to the production and processing of magnetic powders.

- Stay up to date of the latest external technology developments.

- Support senior leadership in developing strategies to improve.

- Train, aid, and provide guidance to less experienced personnel related to material processing.

- Track and continuously improve manufacturing processes using a science-based approach.

- Maintain a safe working environment by upholding and improving procedures to ensure the safety of all employees.

- Solve materials related problems to keep up with day-to-day production.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of materials science and metallurgy.

- Proven experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical parties.

- Quality Standards and Certification Requirements (AS9100D, ISO-9001, etc.)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.

- Experience and knowledge of laboratory practices for testing various materials.

- Ability to work both independently and as a team.

- Ability to use data-driven problem-solving approaches.

- Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for long periods, lifting objects with an established maximum weight, and working in spaces that lack climate control.

Education / General Requirements:

- REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering.

- DESIRED: Master’s Degree or higher in Materials or Chemical Engineering.

- REQUIRED: 1+ years of experience working in a production and/or research environment.

- REQUIRED: U.S. Citizenship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
