Position: MATERIALS COORDINATOR / SCM
This position is responsible for the onsite SCM support at the company’s Field Operations. The incumbent is accountable for executing the operations and activities in the warehouse. Activities include issue counter, receiving, storing, shipping, and delivering materials to meet the business needs and contribute to minimizing risk.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SCM Manager
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
•Manage and process inventory transactions relating to issue counter activities, all issues / returns, and assorted goods movements
•Collaborates with Sr. Materials Coordinator around inventory space utilization
•Maintains accurate electronic inventory records for all items in the warehouse
•Monitors inventory levels by conducting daily/weekly, periodic, and annual physical cycle counts
•Receive, unload, and inspects shipments for damage and conformity to order specifications and packing slips
•Prepares records and reports relating to warehouse operations
•Prepares paperwork for return for credits and verify receipts of returned for credits merchandise
•Operates a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck and other equipment utilized in the warehouse
•Pull, pack, and deliver inventory or equipment to the correct locations
•Resolves issues around stock on hand, back orders and shipment discrepancies, damage or storage
•Maintains the warehouse in a clean, organized, safe and secure condition; assure all areas comply with legislation, acts, and regulations
•Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET:
•Valid Class 5 professional license is required
•3+ years’ working in a warehouse
•Demonstrated experience and expertise in warehousing and inventory processes
•Computer knowledge an asset.
•Have the ability to lift 50lbs
•Excellent communication skills in order to build and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships
•Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain flexibility in completing tasks in a dynamic workplace
