Become a Construction Material Coordinator at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll coordinate SCE or contract construction, maintenance, and material expediting, supporting operations by monitoring tasks, costs, and maintaining records. Responsibilities include managing budgets, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance. Additionally, the position establishes equipment and material logistics, serves as the company contact for contract crews, and handles routine activities like budget reporting and resource scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and accurately.

Responsibilities
•Supports and promotes energy safety programs, including monitoring public safety around energy delivery facilities.
•Monitors the performance and quality of work based on analysis and performance metrics.
•Performs data modeling studies, develops detailed data models and maintains data model and entity relationship diagrams.
•Reports and corrects large data and transaction details within company policies and procedures, translating data analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
•Ensures that equipment systems meet organization and industry standards and maintains appropriate project documentation.
•Schedules maintenance, trouble operations / service restoration, metering operations or operations planning work.
•Monitors and confirms the accuracy of work orders for completeness and verifies necessary documents are present to ensure compliance with the company and regulatory standards and policies.
•A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
•Three years of experience in energy delivery/distribution.
•Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
•One year of experience with planning and/or basic construction
•Experience with project management and operational policies, practices, and procedures.
•Experience with construction related standards, and industry practices.
•Experience with ordering construction tools and materials.
Additional Information
•This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
