We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Loader will be responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of materials and products, ensuring that all items are handled properly to maintain quality standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.

- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts for efficient material handling.

- Ensure proper stacking and securing of loads to prevent damage during transport.

- Conduct regular inspections of loading equipment to ensure safe operation.

- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area to comply with OSHA regulations.

- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording loaded/unloaded items.

Skills

- Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes within a distribution center environment.

- Experience in heavy lifting and materials handling, demonstrating physical capability for the role.

- Familiarity with operating heavy equipment, including cranes and forklifts.

- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
