Material Handler

PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Material Handler in our Chicago, Illinois location.

Job Summary

Facilitate proper receipt, storage, picking and distribution of company material. Delivery of materials will require a valid CDL and safe operation of all material handling equipment. Assist with weekly inventory; and maintaining warehouse and storage areas. Perform data entry of inventory transactions into all Material Management Systems. Strong accounting skills and material management background is required. Perform other duties as assigned. Reports to Logistics Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform Materials Management tasks including receiving, order picking and management, cycle counting, and inventory management

- Perform transactional data entry into Materials Management Software Systems

- Operate all Materials Management material handling equipment

- Obtain CDL

- Safe and efficient packing and delivery of company inventory

Minimum Qualifications

- 1+ years - Materials Management Experience including computer operation and data entry skills

- High School Diploma, HSED, or GED

- Applicant must comply with DOT commercial driver’s license (CDL) drug and alcohol testing requirements

Minimum Posting Range: $29.06

Maximum Posting Range: $46.16

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
