We are currently seeking for responsible Material Handlers that want to grow with S+S and be a part of our Shipping & Receiving team!

This position is located in Houston, TX 77011 (East Downtown).

Qualifications:

•

Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment

•

Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse environment

•

Strong attention to detail

•

Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness in a fast-paced environment

•

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

•

Must be punctual and reliable

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

•

Operate forklift to load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.

•

Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping orders or to other designated areas using forklift.

•

Sort and place materials or items on racks/shelves according to procedures

•

Receive and inspect incoming materials and products for quality, quantity, and accuracy of shipment.

•

Marking containers or pallets with tags that identify the parts with the Customer’s P.O.

•

Perform quality inspections and inventory of finished Customer order prior to packaging and report any discrepancies, defective materials, or conditions found to immediate Supervisor, Shipping Manager or Production Manager

•

Maintaining general cleanliness and organization of dock and work areas

•

Willingness to perform any other related duties assigned by immediate Supervisor

•

Willingness and ability to work weekends, as needed

Minimum 2 years of Forklift and warehouse experience Shift: Monday-Friday, including weekends as needed

Day shift: 6am-6pm

Night shift: 6pm-6am Compensation: Depending on experience

Night shift premium - $2 additional per hour (5pm-5am)
