SUMMARY OF POSITION
The primary role of the Marketing Specialist is to coordinate all the marketing activities and initiatives of James Monroe Homes. They will conduct market research, carry out promotional campaigns, identify target audiences, and evaluate current trends. They will develop and implement marketing plans and strategies driven by analytical data and results. They will assist and work with the James Monroe Homes sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Evaluating and planning within key channels of marketing operations, including digital, social, in-person consumer, in-person Realtor content, functions and spend.
•Formulate advertisement and promotional activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail with appropriate distribution channels
•Prepare and distribute marketing packages including maps, team marketing pieces, flyers, submarket updates, market analyses, etc.
•Create, manage, and analyze digital, social media, and mass marketing email campaigns.
•Assist in planning and coordinating events.
•Work with our team to create and coordinate new communities, model grand openings etc.
•Coordinate signage needs, arrange installation and manage inventory.
•Maintain the website and its data feeds to and from other websites.
•Draft, prepare and distribute marketing documents including new strategies for social media, inbound campaigns, email marketing and events.
•Collaborate with developers of master-planned communities regarding marketing tactics and events.
•Work directly with the sales department to target communities in need of additional support.
•Create and execute marketing plans to fit the needs of each community.
•Manage Apps utilized on website and in communities.
•Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image and brand throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
•Manage and maintain property inventory within the MLS (Multiple Listing Service)
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing
•Analytical and innovative in using data to create successful strategies
•Well versed in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and social media
•Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in jobs with similar responsibilities
•Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
•Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners
•Strong attention to detail
•Strong organizational skills and time management skills
•Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
•Must pass background and drug screening
•Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Lasso
