This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Manufacturing Technician in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. All assignments involve training to gain knowledge of applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Process Specifications, Radiation Work Procedures, and Criticality Specifications. Your work tasks will include, learning to operate various equipment to convert, dissolve, purify, and process uranium materials in a safe and proficient manner. The processed uranium product will be used in downstream processes to create fuel to produce carbon free electricity in nuclear power plants. You will also learn how to read different instruments to help you in your processing duties. You will gain experience using computer software and hardware with several data bases to electronically transfer and track materials and products. You will develop process and equipment troubleshooting skills and learn how to handle uranium safely. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The starting pay rate for this position is $27.50 per hour. After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $29.50 per hour and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
