Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following; all other duties as assigned.
Practices safe work habits and adhere to Materion's safety procedures & guidelines
Follows procedures in operating production equipment and performing processing steps; accurately completes production documentation.
Identifies, escalates and documents events that deviate from the normal operation; participates in investigations.
Operates within designated departments / train others as necessary.
Works with process engineers to improve process(es) as requested.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area, equipment and areas where substrates and chemicals are prepared or stored
Detects and reports improper operation and/or faulty equipment, defective materials and when a process is not within its parameters

Ability to read and follow procedures as outlined in the individual process group

Ability to perform basic Manufacturing/Quality measurement techniques and tools
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing computer software, as well as an understanding of word processing software and general reporting software/programs, including basic knowledge of MS Office.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is moderately exposed to working near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat (non-weather) with risk of electrical shock.
The noise level is moderate in the work environment, typical of an office environment with foot-traffic.
