Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will have experience in all aspect of job tasks in the facility to ensure employee safety, high quality standards, and lean productivity expectations.

Job Description Role and Responsibilities *

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Offer guidance to employees on operational matters

· Ensure all Work Orders are assigned and completed correctly

· Inspects and approves parts/assemblies

· Provides warnings and administers corrective actions to employees not meeting company performance bench marks Assigns duties to shop work orders

· Ensures that measuring devices are up to date, functioning properly, and turned in for recertification in a timely manner (where applicable)

· Conducts Probation Period Reviews and Performance Reviews

· Collaborates with the Plant Manager to uphold the shop schedule

· Coordinates with Safety Manager for shop safety training

· Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

· A high school diploma or GED required

· Metal manufacturing experience required (presses, rollers, bandsaws, shears, etc.)

· Managerial or supervisory experience required

· Demonstrates strong leadership skills

· Possesses detailed knowledge of the shop industry

· Works well with a team

· Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols

· Manages time efficiently

· Can multitask effectively

· Pays attention to detail

· Able to stand for long periods and lift to 50 pounds.

· Is qualified to operate heavy machinery (Sit down forklift up to 12,000 lbs.)

· Is qualified to operate CNC, Press, and metal rolling machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
