Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Summary: Serves as a resource for the Site Director of Operations and the Site Continuous Improvement Leader in achieving site objectives for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement. Resolves questions or concerns regarding individual part processes. Improves current processes and conducts investigations to reduce inefficiencies.

Essential Functions:

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations Management program at a two or four year college or university, progressing toward a bachelor’s degree.

There is also moderate exposure to Video Data Terminals (VDTs) and moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Compensation Salary Range: Paygrade OTC4 ($20.65 - $28.89) *The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
