Manufacturing Technician

Description:

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for a new team member to support manufacturing by preparing, maintaining, and updating programming, tooling, jigs/ fixtures, and production instructions.

- Works with Maintenance Technicians, Quality Personnel, Production Supervisors, and the Safety Manager to monitor and maintain accurate, efficient, and safe operation of equipment machinery and production processes

- Assists Engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures

- Programs CNC equipment and adjusts programs

- Creates and maintains work instructions, production routes, operation and troubleshooting instructions for production machinery, equipment, and processes

- Trains Technicians and Production Personnel on proper use of instructions and procedures

- Responsible for tooling accuracy, efficiency, and upkeep

- Works with Product Development to determine tooling requirements for new products

- Calibrates a variety of tooling and measuring devices

Requirements:

- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical school training

- Three to five years of related work experience

- OR equivalent combination of education and experience

- Calibration expertise (preferred)
