JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a self-motivated person to join as a sales associate. Through this role you will manage and grow sales concentrating in the petroleum, automotive dealership, car wash, and quick service restaurant industries. You will have direct customer engagement and collaborate with manufacturers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but are not limited to the following)
SALES
•Drive product sales across the NC/SC territory
•Maintain and grow relationships with distributors and contractors
•Set up and conduct joint sales calls with manufacturers
•Attend and represent the company at regional and national trade shows
•Host educational seminars and training sessions
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities
•Meet monthly sales goals
COMMUNICATIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
•Maintain regular communication with company headquarters and manufacturer partners
•Provide timely quotes, process orders, and manage sales leads
•Act as a liaison between manufacturers and customers for product support and issue resolution
•Support distributor sales and assist in collecting on delinquent accounts
•Help with forecasting and planning sales volumes
•Troubleshoot in the field with customer/product issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Self-motivated and independent with a results-driven mindset
•Professional decision-maker with strong communication skills
•Preferred minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in petroleum, automotive, or QSR industries
•Ability to present effectively and lead in-person client meetings
•Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regionally (including overnight stays)
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
•Knowledge of lighting, underground fuel/water systems, or construction industries is a strong plus
•Familiarity with quoting systems ie. oasis
•Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with attention to detail
•Be willing to travel weekly
