Testing Required:

Hybrid Role: Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location.

Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

A blend of strategic planning and project management responsible for the planning, management and execution of multiple projects that may encompass multiple disciplines in support of business unit (BU) strategic priorities. Develops a high-level BU's strategic plan(s), ensuring their successful implementation and ongoing execution; may investigate and evaluate initiatives consistent with the BU's long-range goals. Manages and provides leadership for professional-level staff and significant, complex technical project or business support & production team(s), and is accountable for their performance and results. Span of control: typically < 10 FTEs (direct, second-level, etc.), plus multi- discipline project team leadership. *This is a strategic planning and project management generalist function, focusing on a single or combination of disciplines; may encompass projects that include engineering-based disciplines, but is separate from exclusively nuclear, electric, gas or similar power plant- specific engineering project leadership roles.
