We are looking for an experienced and innovative Manager of Ecommerce to take full ownership of our online sales channels, with a primary focus on our Shopify store. This role is central to our company’s strategic plan to become the leading ecommerce destination for U.S.-made flags.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce management, digital marketing, and customer acquisition strategies, and be comfortable working across B2C and B2B customer segments. You will oversee the online customer journey from discovery through conversion and retention, helping drive sales, improve user experience, and grow brand awareness.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize our Shopify store, including product listings, collections, SEO, content updates, and apps/integrations.
- Identify and implement enhancements to improve site performance, navigation, and user experience.
- Oversee daily ecommerce operations, including order flow, inventory sync, customer service coordination, and third-party integrations.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns including Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and email marketing.
- Collaborate on content strategy to promote seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and promotional events.
- Monitor campaign performance, perform testing, and provide regular reporting with actionable insights.
- Manage and grow third-party sales channels such as Amazon, eBay, and other relevant platforms.
- Ensure consistency in branding, pricing, and product information across all channels.
- Track key performance indicators including conversion rate, average order value, return on sales, traffic sources, and customer retention.
- Use data to guide ecommerce strategy and optimize performance.
- Work with operational teams to ensure a seamless experience from browsing to post-purchase.
- Coordinate with leadership on ecommerce goals and budget planning.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify-based ecommerce store.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO, email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp), and social media advertising platforms.
- Experience selling on Amazon, eBay, or other marketplaces strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and conversion optimization tactics.
- Experience with B2B and B2C ecommerce.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
