The Product Manager role will have two key focus points, first overseeing the day-to-day management of LSEG Workspace for Wealth Advisors including SAM interactions, second delivering new dynamic capabilities for LSEG’s Wealth Solutions business. The role will require the applicant to work in conjunction with multiple teams at LSEG to support LSEG Workspace for Wealth Advisors, redefining the Wealth Solution Workflow, and expanding how the workflow is delivered to the end user.

The Product Manager must have extensive proven experience in the Wealth Management industry, including design and implementation of Wealth Management capabilities in a cross-platform environment (interoperability with other systems). The successful applicant will utilize their extensive Wealth Management experience to expand the current offerings in the Wealth Solutions business. The applicant will work with multiple teams to apply these new capabilities as part of redefining the LSEG Wealth Solution Workflow, expanding how the workflow is delivered, simplifying the workflow through the incorporation of intelligent information and purpose defined actionability. The product manager will own the product vision, gather and prioritize requirements, define the product roadmap and work closely with user experience/design, and development to deliver required capabilities to market. The product manager will work in a dynamic group with cross-functional resources. The product manager is also responsible for identifying trends in the market and working closely with clients and commercial teams to identify and respond to changes and competitive developments.
The successful candidate will be tasked with executing a strategy for long term sustainable growth of LSEG’s footprint in this area through an understanding of market and competitive dynamics and will detail and drive execution around requirements for product, content, commercials, packaging and other innovation. The role requires the successful candidate to lead across a matrixed organization and will require strong direction setting and influencing skills to work with technology, content and sales teams to deliver results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of LSEG’s Workspace for Wealth Advisors
- Act as a product & workflow specialist and spokesperson internally and externally ensuring our Wealth Solution value proposition is articulated clearly to commercial teams, prospects and customers.
- Work with design and product teams to deliver best in class products for data discovery, retrieval and data visualization
- Work closely with the development teams to ensure execution of the plan through clear communication of requirements, development, testing and successful releases of features
- Build the relationship with key stakeholders across different business lines to work on the product strategy, understand and process the requirements and communicate the product strategy and goals
- Conduct regular customer meetings to gather feedback, validate approach and inform product strategy
- Work with Business, Sales and Account Management colleagues to prioritize key capability requirements needed for our users and to identify opportunities to deliver solutions to the customer base
- Engage with the wider LSEG organization including sales and account management, marketing and support to drive awareness and collaboration
- Regularly engage with clients to obtain the deep knowledge of customers’ workflows and address them within the product features
- Identifying trends in the market and working closely with clients and commercial teams to identify and respond to changes and competitive developments
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years working within global financial market environments, with at least 3 years managing financial content, products & solutions.- Extensive knowledge of the Global Wealth Management Industry, regional user needs and regional requirements. Primary Focus on the Financial Advisor/Relationship Manager roles.
- Experience working with Microsoft applications, mainly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
- Desired: Previous product experience from competitors with a focus on Wealth Solutions workflows.
- Strong analytical abilities (modelling, results tracking and interpretation), supplemented with exceptional project management skills.
- Strong team player with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions and regions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and ability to communicate complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $123,200 - $205,400.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
