New Jersey Resources (NJR) is seeking a Manager Master Data Management (MDM) responsible for managing NJR's MDM policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data flows within Oracle ERP Cloud and between Oracle and periphery systems. In partnership with NJR's businesses and IT team, the Finance Master Data Manager will maintain continuity of dependent business processes and accessibility to data across multiple applications.
Oversee deployment and enforce standards and rules for data management within Oracle ERP Cloud and between Oracle and edge systems, including inventory, financial planning application, customer information system, asset management software, payroll, reconciliation tools, etc.
Collaboratively lead cross-functional discussions with key stakeholders to ensure changes to master data are being met within the guidelines of MDM policies and procedures, as well as accounting practices.
Provide direction on Oracle architecture, functionality and NJR’s key design decisions to steer conversations on best practices that will align business requests to NJR’s ERP design principles and goals.
Oversee related updates to documentation in configuration guides; ensure that guides include key information on design decisions and documentation is complete for continuity and SOX compliance
Troubleshoot, analyze and prioritize issues related to data quality, accuracy, consistency and completeness.
Oversee solutioning and resolutions to data management issues and requests, with an eye toward continuous improvement of end-user experiences.
Partner with stakeholders, including Digital Controllership cross-functional team (Finance and IT), to optimize Oracle functionality and related configurations with the goal of driving efficiencies and best practices.
Coordinating with IT and stakeholders on report and configuration testing as necessary for applications supported by the Finance master data management function.
Maintain SOX controls; serve as liaison on auditor documentation requests.
Develop and maintain MDM metrics and KPIs for reporting and management of related activities and issues.
Collaborate on other system implementations and related day-to-day operations to ensure successful and accurate transfer of data between Oracle Fusion Cloud and edge system integrations.
Grow a team of analysts and mentor staff on master data principles, governance and procedures to optimize data flows and integrity.
