The Senior Engineer, Data Management will be key to supporting multiple user bases of operational data by providing services and tools for asset analysis, monitoring, and alarming. This position will be responsible for engaging with users of the RWECE data historian (AVEVA™ PI System™) to assess business needs and develop solutions that will enable data-driven decisions across solar, wind, and battery energy storage operations.

This position will be involved in both the construction and operational stages of projects. Key contributions will include onboarding new data to the historian and applying changes or fixes to existing configurations. This role requires knowledge and support of multiple stages of the data lifecycle, including data collection through data access, and to use knowledge gained in operational support to continuously improve onboarding methods.

This position requires leadership and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers, where providing clear communication and documentation is paramount to meeting project milestones. Communicating across a variety of teams with different technical knowledge is also needed to bring projects to conclusion, including SCADA, IT/OT, engineering, analytical and monitoring teams, and operators.

This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE office and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time.

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in Chicago is $115,000 - $150,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
