The Manager of Market Strategy has overall responsibility for power market analysis and strategy. You will lead fundamental market research, production of relevant, actionable market insights, and development of go-to market strategies that support the long-term success of Clenera’s Independent Power Producer model. Responsibilities include building and maintaining persistent market models to understand and analyze supply/demand dynamics in U.S. power markets; sourcing and integrating high-quality data for market models from various sources; recommending and leveraging data analysis and visualization tools, including AI, to analyze large datasets; defining and refining key market assumptions related to energy transition, renewable and battery deployment, demand response, tax credits, regulatory constraints, and emission targets; partnering with Development and origination teams to calibrate market prioritization and develop project marketing strategies; supporting initiatives to meet large load/data center demand; staying updated on market news and trends; collaborating cross-functionally; maintaining organizational excellence in project timelines and deliverables; and demonstrating Clēnera Core Values. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor/graduate degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, or related field; minimum 5 years B2B experience including market research and strategy; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis and visualization tools, AI tools, and ability to learn company-specific software; self-motivation and problem-solving skills; success in producing actionable market insights; ability to create strategic go-to-market strategies; comfort aligning high-level strategy with detail-oriented work; and effectiveness in cross-functional collaboration.
