Seattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is one of the nation’s largest municipally owned utilities in terms of the number of customers served. Over the years we have worked very hard to keep Seattle's electricity affordable, reliable, and environmentally sound. Today, City Light is a recognized national leader in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
This position will work as part of the Budget Office team to develop the approximately $1.5 Billion annual operating and capital budget for the utility. The job duties will include developing and monitoring the utility budget and working as the primary financial advisor to divisional management, coordinating the work of O&M and capital project managers to forecast project spending, prepare detailed schedules, and monitor O&M and CIP performance. This position also develops reports in Tableau and performs work on the O&M and CIP Dashboards. This position provides support to management across the utility relating to budgeting, forecasting, procurement and any other financial issues.
This position will report to the City Light Budget Manager.

Requires three years of experience in systems, operations, procedures, research or analysis and a Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, computer science or a related field (or a combination of education, training or experience that provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class).

Additional Information
The full salary range for this position is $ $54.28 to $ $63.26 per hour.
