Make Ready/Shop Hand Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly of reciprocating engine and compressor components, as well as auxiliary equipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and assemble reciprocating engine and compressor components and auxiliary equipment.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges, to take accurate measurements and assess the dimensional integrity of parts.

- Collaborate with team members to analyze inspection results and develop effective repair plans for mechanical equipment and instrumentation.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of disassembled equipment components to prevent damage or loss.

- Perform reassembly of repaired or replaced components in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards.

- Oversee and sign off on completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
