Responsible for the planning, coordination, and project management of major maintenance activities including engine overhauls, compressor overhauls, engine swings, unit mobilization, and unit demobilization. Ensures the efficient project management of all major maintenance activities within their assigned area including pre-job planning and post-job closeout. Works closely with Service Managers, Operations Directors, Business Unit Vice Presidents, third party contractors, and, when needed, customers to optimize labor, materials, and schedules ensuring that major maintenance activities meet Archrock’s safety, financial, and operational targets.
Essential Duties:
•Develop and maintain detailed work scopes, schedules, and resource plans for major maintenance activities within their assigned area.
•Ensure that Service Requests (SR’s) for major maintenance activities are initiated, managed, and processed in a timely manner.
•Plan and procure necessary parts, tooling, and 3rd party support equipment to support scheduled major maintenance activities.
•Assist go to market activities for 3rd party resources and provide administrative oversight of 3rd parties including schedule coordination, adherence to Service Level Agreements, and pursuing warranty claims.
•Coordinates with BU personnel to align workforce availability, scheduling, and project execution.
•Collaborate with Supply Chain, Transportation, and the Swing Engine Team to ensure timely delivery of required parts and materials.
•Oversees core return process and monitors core credits to ensure they are applied correctly for all major maintenance activities.
•Track and report project progress, costs, and other Key Performance Indicators to management.
Manages annual budget and implements operational standards and processes.

Minimum Education and Certification:
•High school diploma or equivalent (required), Associates degree / technical degree preferred.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Minimum Experience:
•Experience in field operations, either as a field technician or in a field operations management role, with hands-on knowledge of operational processes, equipment, and best practices.
Demonstrated history of successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Leadership:
•Coordinates schedule across multiple priorities in order to ensure task completion.
•Able to lead through influence and coordination to accomplish major maintenance tasks.
•Develops strong relationships with BU personnel including Field Supervisors, Service Managers, Operations Directors, and BU Vice Presidents and able to manage through interpersonal conflicts.
•Problem solving skills to achieve resolution to conflicts related to operational priorities and project resourcing.
•Develops, implements, manages, and communicates work standards and performance metrics for major maintenance activities.
