Report to Maintenance Superintendent
SUMMARY:
Perform maintenance tasks as assigned to ensure equipment and infrastructure are functioning correctly
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of building do not deteriorate.
•
Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
•
Suggest and recommend to Maintenance Manager any changes needed to maintain and upgrade machinery
•
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance department
•
Other assigned tasks as needed
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•
Follow all safety procedures including lock out/ tag out
•
Equipment maintained in good working order
•
Repair work is done quickly, safely, and efficiently
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
•
Position is considered full-time with benefits, pay will be determined by experience.
•
Candidates must be self-motivated, willing to work flexible hours.
•
Must be able to work independently
•
Read, write (English), understand and follow instructions
•
Applicants must have a basic working knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical, welding, pipefitting and fabrication.
•
An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems, as well as a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow safety procedures

Wear required personal protective equipment
•
Hearing protection of 29 NRR or greater
•
Steel toe shoes
•
Safety glasses
•
Appropriate equipment needed for various tasks (harness, hard hat, etc.)

Pay: From $23.69 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
