Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and supporting our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient operations. This position involves troubleshooting, conducting regular inspections, performing repairs, and supporting the production team in minimizing downtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Test production machines and equipment.
•Operates basic machine functions and performs basic set up.
•Participate in machinery installation, repair, and maintenance.
•Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble.
•Propose process improvements to minimize downtime.
•Maintain a clean work area and detailed records.
•Be available for call-in situations, including weekends and other shifts.
•Aware of, and properly uses light guards, emergency stops, etc. for safe machine operation.
•Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
•Clear snow from all factory entrances, and apply salt as necessary
•Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
•Must be able to work in elevation up to 25’ high on a ladder or a lift
•Meet expectations of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying necessary for the job (50lbs) in extreme hot and cold conditions.
•Knowledge of electricity and electronic principles preferred.
•Experience troubleshooting and installing/aligning mechanical components preferred.
•In lieu of experience, on the job training will be provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
