Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to handle repairs and upkeep across multiple rental properties in the Morgantown area. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to respond to both scheduled and emergency service needs
Duties
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
•
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively
•
Complete tenant service requests promptly and professionally
•
Perform preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., filter changes, gutter cleaning, smoke detector checks)
•
Maintain landscaping, grounds, and common areas as needed
•
Respond to emergency maintenance issues during and outside of regular business hours (on-call duties)
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
•
Ensure properties are up to code and in compliance with safety regulations
•
Rental unit turnovers and renovations
Skills
•
2+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
•
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
•
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
•
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
•
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, kneeling, etc.)
•
Excellent time management and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
•
4 hour shift
•
8 hour shift
•
Day shift
•
Evenings as needed
•
Monday to Friday
•
On call
•
Weekends as needed
Ability to Commute:

Morgantown, WV 26508 (Required)
