The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all building and machinery maintenance. It is critical that everything operates at required, efficient levels, to produce the quality of product that meets or exceeds customer requirements.
- Meets with Maintenance Supervisor and facilitates necessary maintenance and repairs on equipment and buildings as needed.
- Responsible for making sure the machines are running at company and OEM standards. Making necessary changes and set-ups as needed to ensure customer deliveries.
- Make sure machines are properly lubricated and running at proper speeds. Make adjustments or repairs to maintain efficiencies in production or the reduction in waste.
- Work with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule repairs and / or replace parts to ensure production efficiencies and / or the reduction in waste.
- Check machine reports and meet and report daily, all issues that have or have not been completed to the Maintenance Supervisor, or Production Manager.
- Make sure areas of the Maintenance Room and work areas are kept clean and safe. Assign work as needed to maintain.
- Must know and follow all safety rules.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
