The Maintenance Technician is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment, including die cast machines, CNCs, furnaces, air compressors, chillers, and support systems. This position requires advanced diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret PLC logic and electrical schematics. The technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting preventive maintenance, and partnering with production, engineering, and tooling teams to ensure reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
•Maintain and repair die cast machines, trim presses, CNC machines, and related support equipment such as furnaces, ladles, extractors, sprayers, and automation systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
•Diagnose issues using PLC programs and HMI screens (Allen Bradley preferred).
•Execute and document preventive maintenance tasks per schedule.
•Support equipment uptime by responding quickly to breakdowns and production calls.
•Read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical and mechanical schematics.
•Maintain facility systems such as HVAC, lighting, RO water filtration, and compressed air.
•Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
•Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase reliability.
•Mentor junior maintenance staff as needed and share technical knowledge with peers.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
•3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
•Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
•Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic interpretation.
•Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
•Working knowledge of safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and arc flash protocols.
•Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
•Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
•Must be able to work in a hot, loud, and industrial environment.
•Willingness to work overtime or weekends based on business needs.
