Position Summary:

The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, rental equipment, and other building systems. Maintain inventory of cleaning and perishable items related to breakrooms, bathrooms, and office needs. Assist cleaning crew with daily cleaning, snow removal, and safety requirements.

Work Environment:

This role primarily operates in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled and the noise level is described as moderate. The nature of this role described as heavy work and constant lifting to 10 lbs., frequent lifting up to 100 lbs., and occasionally over 100 lbs. The job holder is exposed to uneven ground, confined spaces, vibration, oils, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and high places. The use of limbs is required to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and cranes. This role requires standing for long periods of time, alternating between sitting and standing, crawling, climbing, kneeling, neck rotation, pushing, reaching, stooping/twisting, climbing, crouching, driving, grasping/gripping, pulling, pushing, stooping / twisting, crouching, driving, grasping/gripping, picking/pinching, reaching overhead, and squatting. Near and far visual acuity, and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech is required. This role is not eligible to considered for remote work.
