Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift

A maintenance mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of all equipment used in the production and packaging of food products.
- Ensure that the facility and all production equipment are maintained properly while abiding by all Food Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Identify, communicate, and help to resolve potential food safety concerns that may appear (condensation, improper welds, hygienic design, etc.)
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all production and facilities equipment. This includes boilers, mixers, ovens, conveyors, and components of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures.
- Efficiently diagnose a variety of equipment consisting of electrical, mechanical, steam, ammonia, and control system components.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, equipment, and drawings to identify and address problems effectively.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
- Participate in equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency or meet changing production requirements.
