Curtis Metal Finishing is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Tech. for its 3rd shift operations (train on 1st). Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Some metal finishing experience helpful but not required.
- Follow policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Review any maintenance issues and small projects to be resolved to reduce downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and visitors.
- Provide own Toolbox and Tools.
Maintenance Tech. Desired Abilities, Knowledge and Skills
- Able to lift to 50lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching above and below.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Understanding of industry sector safety and environmental standards
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
- Initial evaluation at 90 days with opportunity for a raise. Then yearly evaluations with increases following.
