Maintenance Helper

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the maintenance department by performing various tasks related to facilities upkeep and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Education: High school diploma or GED; previous experience in maintenance or a related field is a plus.

Skills: Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices, including familiarity with hand and power tools.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions including heights and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

- Perform PM's

- Checks oil and fills

- Filter changes

- Occasional welding (saw guards/makes spiders)

- Tightens bolts/replaces shivs

- Roll changes

- Painting

- Performs 5S - maintaining the shop; maintaining order

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
