Maintenance Helper

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fleet Maintenance Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone with basic vehicle knowledge who is eager to learn and grow in the field of fleet maintenance. The right candidate may have experience working on their own car, at an auto parts store like AutoZone, or performing simple repairs. Training will be provided, for the right candidiate to expand skills over time.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with routine truck maintenance, including oil changes, fuse replacements, and fluid checks.

- Perform basic troubleshooting on fleet vehicles under supervision.

- Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.

- Complete basic data entry and update maintenance logs.

- Support mechanics and technicians with daily tasks and projects.

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance (oil changes, fuses, fluids, etc.).

- Previous experience working on personal vehicles or in an auto parts/repair environment a plus.

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

- Dependable with good attendance and work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
