We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Manager!

- Life insurance- Five plus years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing organization including 3+ years of lean and continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with press equipment and press tooling/die maintenance, repair, and development.
- Lean or Lean Six Sigma training – A plus!
- Ability to operate with high urgency and personal initiative, while maintaining excellent coordination and communication with staff.
- Maintain and develop training and communication processes to achieve accident-free performance.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance activities to meet safety, reliability, productivity, and cost goals in accordance with policies, principles, and schedules.
- Ensure operational availability of assets by developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules.
- Establish a strong partnership with Plant Manager and Production Manager as internal customers to support overall operational objectives and performance metrics.
- Manage all maintenance and tool/die personnel, including performance management and training and development. Recommend the hiring, termination, development, promotion, demotion of employees within span of control.
- Provide leadership and direct maintenance activity on site ensuring best practice/compliance with
- Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and customer requirements.
- Active participation in production planning process ensuring maintenance activities and plans are consistent with management objectives and targets.
- Set aggressive but achievable targets for safety, customer service, quality, reliability, and productivity. Continuously monitor progress towards targets and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships across the business – production, shipping, sales, finance, etc. in order to meet high service expectations and business objectives.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and implement Lean/Visual management techniques. Directs Lean initiatives and processes for the maintenance and tool/die team.
- Participate in budgeting process and administration, coordinate maintenance purchasing and documentation, and monitor departmental expenditures for compliance with cost control targets.
- Support capital requests for asset upgrades and replacement.
- Mechanical – Design, application, repair, and maintenance of machines and components.
- Computers and Electronics — Circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Engineering and technology – Practical application of engineering sciences and technology.
- Equipment Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by Leadership.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Full Time; position is for day shift but must be flexible for occasional evening and weekend work as necessary
