As a part of the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team the Electrician Technician Maintenance role will empower you to take preventive and curative actions as well as maintain, repair and expand the installations and make improvements to the installations in order to keep production running and optimize the operation of the installations. Repair mechanical breakdowns, construct and adapt the installations based on the plans of the technical draughtsman, managers or external parties.
As an Electrician Technician Maintenance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- (Preventively) maintain and/or renew and/or expand the electrical installations and measurement and controls installations (both low, medium and high (BA5) voltage) taking into account the instruction list in order to optimize the availability and capacity of the installations.
- Renew and improve electrical installations including controls.
- Repair breakdowns or malfunctioning of electrical installations and measurement and control systems.
- Analyze the cause of the problem by measuring the electrical voltage/current, insulation value
- Assist and work with operators on problems that shut down production in order to get production back up an running as quickly as possible.
- Repair mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic malfunctions.
- Ensure necessary actions, including any administration, are taken to allow the installations to be used in a safe manner.

- A2 Mechanics or equivalent by experience
- Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of materials and techniques (lifting and hoisting techniques, welding techniques) with execution of operational activities.
- Knowledge of general technical regulations and safety rules
- Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.

Salary is to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
