Repairs and maintains machine, and metal forming tools, and associated equipment; moves and installs new and used machinery.
Troubleshoot & repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic & mechanical systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Receives work assignment and job instructions.
•Locates and determines machine trouble.
•Obtains required tools and equipment.
•Makes new parts or obtains replacements as required.
•After repair, tests machine for satisfactory operation.
•Installs or relocates machines or equipment by preparing the foundation, connections or services; sets up and tests for satisfactory operation. Work operations may also include electrical duties, as required.
•Works in a safe manner and in accordance with established safety practices.
•Performs preventative maintenance and other duties as assigned by leadman or supervisor.
•Learn additional skills as required by manufacturing process changes.
•Assist the Maintenance Department as needed to complete repairs and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Will possess all the skills required for previous classifications and be able to:
•Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electrical Code and it’s guidelines.
•Generate, read and comprehend electrical schematics for control and operation of machinery.
•Repair and maintain motors, control systems, lighting components and power tools.
•Repair and maintain power distribution equipment for 480 and 120-volt systems.
•Demonstrate knowledge for the maintenance and repair of direct current equipment including batteries, forklifts and welders.
•Work with programmable logic controllers and logic diagrams.
•Use a laptop computer to access and troubleshoot PLC controllers.
•Work with the Quality Department to perform furnace temperature surveys and job temperature monitoring.
