This position is primarily responsible for electrical design and implementation of new equipment switch gear, maintains electrical infrastructure and equipment controls in compliance with electrical codes. Includes sizing, installation, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems in support of production operations and general facilities. Additional mechanical and project related work is often required. All work is performed under the established safety policies and procedures.
•Knowledge of current local electrical codes regarding sizing and installing switch gear, conduit and controls.
•Use of basic hand tools, electrical measuring devices and other special electrical tools to perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs on heavy electrical equipment, motors, controls, heating, cooling, pneumatic and hydraulics.
•Periodic instrument calibrations, layout and fabrication of control panels, and minor mechanical repairs such as motor, valve and cylinder replacement.
•Experience with Mills, Mixers, Blenders and Dryers, Electric Fired Kilns, Ovens and Rotary Calciners.

•Safely work with High Voltage 480VAC circuits
•Troubleshoot and implement repairs to AC & DC circuits
•Design, program, implement, and troubleshoot integrated controls such as PLC’s, HMI’s, and Motor Drive circuits.
•Assists in layout and fabrication of control circuits and control panels.
•Properly size & install switch gear and associated electrical conduit.
•Demonstrates a willingness to learn and has good core work ethics
•Available for weekend On-call rotation.
•Perform other work as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician preferred.
•PLC programming experience using Allen Bradley software is a plus
•Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
•Knowledge of electrical safe work practices.
•Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams.
•Familiarization of forklift and scissor lift operation.
•PC experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft software.
•Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
•Ability to climb up and down ladders on a daily basis
•Ability to hear alarms and sound of operating machinery
•Ability to work at heights above ground level
