To receive, deliver, and process incoming and outgoing mail in a professional and timely manner with a focus on accuracy, organization, and customer service within NOV’s corporate environment.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service to NOV employees and the public over-the-counter interactions, phone, and written correspondence.
- Collect, sort, open, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming mail and courier packages.
- Prepare mail and packages for shipment: weigh items, determine postage, complete shipping documentation, and coordinate courier pickups and deliveries.
- Resolve issues and respond to inquiries regarding incoming and outgoing courier deliveries.
- Assist the Mail Room Supervisor with scanning and coding invoices, filing, and document archiving.
- Support the Corporate Copy Center by preparing documents for scanning, printing, binding, coiling, and laminating.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, NOV employees, and external parties.
- Effective verbal communication skills, especially related to mail and customer support.
- Proficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.
- May require occasional weekday overtime.
- Fast-paced mailroom and office support environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing 20–25+ pounds.
