Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machinery and tools. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, flexo presses, stamping presses, and press brake machines.

- Perform setup and adjustments on machines based on job specifications.

- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining requirements.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality.

- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.

- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.

- Handle materials safely and efficiently, including packaging finished products for shipment.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.

- Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T, and SolidWorks is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of mechanical systems and fabrication processes is essential.

- Experience with hand tools, basic math skills, and quality control procedures is required.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
