At Nitro Cutting, we specialize in high-quality metal fabrication—and it all starts with precision cutting and machine operations. We’re looking for a driven Machine Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for someone that is efficient and conscientious to reduce waste while supporting the achievement of established operating objectives.

What You’ll Do:

- Operate and program machines for cutting steel metal shapes for fabrication of stainless-steel sheet metal structures.

- Responsible for material handling raw materials, loading and unloading, to be cut on the machines.

- Work from and read blueprints

- Examine work pieces for defects to ensure conformance with specification and are responsible for spot checking parts being cut to meet customer’s needs.

- Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and notify supervisors

- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.

- Participate in all company training.

What You Bring to the Table:

- 3–5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Familiarity with Trumpf machines preferred but not required — we’ll train the right person.

- Solid understanding of reading blueprints and fabrication drawings.

- Comfortable with material handling and overhead crane operation.

- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.

- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively with others.

- Strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accountability.

- Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to grow in a fast-paced environment.
