Safe and efficient operations of thermal and mechanical processing and related department equipment to size reduce and prepare materials for metal recovery.
1. Operate processing equipment including furnaces and mills.
2. Load, unload, and move material into machines and between processing stations.
3. Assist with running ball mills and screeners when needed.
4. Manually separate low value metal from material streams.
2. Must be able to wear a respirator.
3. Possess ability to operate equipment and work with hazardous materials safely.
5. Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
6. Ability to follow instructions and established uniform procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
3. Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
4. Bend and lift loads regularly up to 30 pounds, and on occasion up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
5. Environmental exposure to elevated temperature, noise, and dust.
