Duties

Skills/Responsibilities

Set Up and Operate Stamping Presses

o Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job specifications.

o Install, align, and adjust dies, punches, and other tooling in the press.

o Load raw materials (e.g., metal coils, blanks) into the press.

o Monitor inventory of key components used in daily operation.

o Perform routine cleaning/maintenance on machine

o Follow directions and perform job duties with limited supervision.

o Perform basic math calculations.

o Lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly.

o Collaborate with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to optimize production and resolve issues.

o Communicate production status, challenges, and improvements effectively.

o May assist in training new operators.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

· Previous experience operating metal stamping presses or similar manufacturing machinery – 2 years or more preferred.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

· Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

· Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
