Machine Operator I - Weekend Day Shift

Shift Hours - 5:00am-5:00pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Pay Rate: $25.35/hour + $3.00/hour Shift Premium = $28.35/hour Job Summary

The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator I will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.

- Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.

- Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.

- Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs

- Safely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.

- Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.

- Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed.

- Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.

Requirements

- High school Diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent

- Detail oriented and organized.

- Work in a team environment in a professional manner

- Effectively communicate

- Utilize applicable hand tools with precision.
