Licensed Independent Insurance Agent

We are seeking a motivated and licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in New York State.

About the Role

As a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative, you will work with new and existing customers to provide insurance solutions that meet their needs. You will educate clients, build strong relationships, and close sales while following all NYS insurance regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Sell personal and/or commercial insurance policies (Auto, Home, Business, etc.)

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage options

Handle inbound leads and conduct outbound follow-up calls

Prepare quotes, explain coverage options, and close sales

Maintain accurate records and adhere to NY State insurance compliance

Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Meet monthly sales goals and performance metrics

Requirements

Active New York State Insurance Sales License (P&C and/or Life & Health) — required

Prior experience in insurance sales preferred

Strong communication, customer service, and persuasion skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Basic computer skills (CRM, email, quoting software)

Professional, reliable, and motivated to earn commissions
