Hurst-Rosche has an opportunity for a Licensed Architect or the ability to become Licensed based in our Marion, IL office. We are an integrated design firm that unites a dynamic team of architects, engineers, surveyors, and industry specialists driven to help solve our clients' greatest challenges. Position duties will include:
· Perform preliminary investigations, studies, conceptual designs, planning, and presentations for a wide variety of building types and facilities.
· Lead project teams of professionals in the project development and delivery process. Activities will include significant client interface and coordination with governing agencies and stakeholders.
· Prepare and lead the preparation of Revit and CAD production drawings from schematic to construction design phases with the support of dedicated technical staff as needed. Coordinate and integrate investment of subject matter experts when engaged.
· Serve as Client Partner to select clientele to ensure highest level of service is obtained and delivered.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Architecture and must be a Licensed Professional Architect or have the ability to be licensed within 6 months of employment. Master of Architecture or NCARB certification is seen as a strong plus. Familiarity with Revit, Sketchup, and similar platforms preferred. Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential. Area of work is public sector, (DoD, recreational, education, multi-family, governmental, and health care). Projects frequently require on-site inspections throughout project site and may be required to be done independently.
