Position Specific Description

NextEra's Power Generation Division Operational Excellence Team is seeking a Lead Project Manager - Solar Replication to join its renewable strategy team. Employees in this role will drive innovative operational solutions across NextEra's solar and battery energy storage sites. This role is ideal for a experienced solar professional with a strong background in project management and operations with a dedication to continuous improvement.

In This Position, You Will Have The Opportunity To

- Lead high-visibility and strategically important projects that drive operational excellence across the organization.

- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, managing research, business case evaluations, vendor relationships, and project execution

- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to deliver high-impact projects within scope, budget and timelines

Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate

- Proven experience managing large, complex projects with an operational focus, ideally within the energy sector

- A track record of driving positive change through continuous improvement solutions and process enhancements

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Oversees a variety of large-scale projects of high complexity

- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes

- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis

- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions

- Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues

- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders

- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project

- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 6+ years

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's Degree

- Project Management Professional (PMP)
