Peak Wellness Spa is seeking a Lead Front Desk / Client Specialist to oversee our client-facing operations, ensure team excellence, and support spa leadership in delivering an unforgettable member experience.
The Lead Front Desk / Client Specialist is the first and last impression of our spa and is responsible for both client satisfaction and front desk team performance. This role combines customer service, leadership, sales, and operational oversight.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires setting the tone for the front desk team while also handling daily responsibilities such as client check-ins, appointment scheduling, retail sales, and ensuring the spa environment is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Lead and support the Front Desk Client Specialist team, serving as the primary point of contact for daily questions, training, and scheduling.
- Maintain a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for all members and guests.
- Handle escalated client issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
- Train new front desk staff on systems, policies, and service standards.
- Ensure team members are educated on spa services, therapies, and retail products to maximize sales and member engagement.
- Monitor and maintain front desk operations, including:
- Phone calls, scheduling, email, and voicemail follow-ups.
- POS transactions and membership/account management.
- Daily open/close responsibilities.
- Ensure cleanliness and order of reception area, member lounge, and support with towel laundry rotation.
- Oversee inventory of retail and front desk supplies; communicate needs to management.
- Assist in implementing new systems, promotions, and initiatives.
- Partner with spa management to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
- Previous customer service and sales experience required.
- At least 1–2 years of leadership, supervisory, or shift lead experience preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and staff.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
- Ability to train, motivate, and hold staff accountable to service standards.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- CPR/AED certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Interest in health, fitness, and wellness strongly preferred.
- Continuous standing and walking during shifts.
- Reaching, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals.
