Pay: starting at$32/hour depending on experience

Hours: 50+ hours/week (weekends when required)

The Lead Foreman will assist in the supervision of craft activities to assure optimum productivity and construction compliance. The Lead Foreman will supervise the lay out, assembly and installation of various sizes and types of pipe. Must be familiar with gas compressor field stations, gas plant maintenance and pigging procedures. The Lead Foreman will work hand in hand with the pipeline superintendent and job assigned inspector.

Job Responsibilities:

- Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a 2 – 7-person crew

- Utilizes heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill drainage pipe

- Sequences pipe installation to reduce interference with other project activities and the public

- Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns

- Responsible for crew safety. Establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program

- Observes assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment

- Analyzes job cost reports to ensure production is within budget

- Reviews and approves employee time reporting

- Maintains professional relationship with Owner

- The Lead Foreman must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely

- Directs a crew as a working foreman and performs skilled work in the installation and repair of oil and gas facilities and performs related work as required

- Ensures crews are on site, prepared and equipped to perform their assignments.

- Manage regular inspections of equipment

- Prepares daily work tickets, documenting & approving work performed, materials used, costs, etc.

- Training new employees

- Safely works in a potentially hazardous environment

- Follow all HSE and Safety Rules and Regulations

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Four Years experience as a roustabout or other field position preferred

- Two Year supervisor or lead experience preferred

- High school diploma or its equivalent

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
